Hi all, really impressed to read 7 pages of good reviews on BA. I've made an appt in March. Looking forward! For those who have pictures of the wedding and evening gowns, do you mind sharing with me the photos and your package details? Thanks. My email is my_dream_wedding@ymail.com

dolphin88 & keryllow: You can get to look forward to trying on some dresses on your appt! That made me really surprised back then, Christine let me try like 5 gowns (and i did not even confirm or showed interest in signing up at that time) to let me have a feel of what kind of gown I would like. Other studios that we visited only took out the gown from the rack and showed it to me.. some did not even allow me to touch their gowns.

Hi nexusangel, really glad to hear that! Will look forward to trying out the wedding gowns in my appointment in March! Can i also check with you, is it true that bridal packages price increases every year? So if i only sign up the package next year, it'll be more expensive than now? And would you know how long in advance can we buy the package before our AD?

Well i guess most ppl sign up about an average of a year ahead of their wedding I think..
I'm not 100% sure if package prices increase annually as well, i actually don't think it does but I might be wrong.

Oh remember to wear a strapless bra >.< Or else you'll have to take your bra off, the straps spoil the look of the dress >.<

I wasn't holding high hopes when I went to Bridal Affairs because I was quite self conscious of my pregnancy as the other bridal shops gave me this weird look when I told them I was pregnant and they didn't seem to understand my needs. I was so surprised when Christine didn't even rise an eyebrow when I told her I was pregnant and she even made me a Milo instead of giving me the crysanthemum tea she usually gives to her guests. She told me I cannot drink tea at this stage. It was truly heart warming to know someone who is a total stranger cares and this little gesture gave me the confidence that Bridal Affairs will be able to take care of my wedding and make sure I only get the best. I went to them last month and just chose my gown this week, the service remains excellent everytime i went back. There were constant reminders to be careful, constant ensuring I wasn't thirsty, Christine also advised me on some things to look out for during pregnancy which I didn't know and even referred me to some websites for mums where I could buy my maternity stuff at a good price. I think it is things like these that makes a huge difference to the normal day service. A total stranger who can come so close to heart so easily with her sincerity and down to earth character makes a hell lot of difference to the whole package. I think it is something money can never buy and something very hard to find. Even my hubby was impressed! I'm looking forward to going back to pick up my gowns for my prewedding shoot in 2 week's time. Kudos to Bridal Affairs!
Hi JJGirl1984,i guess Christin treats all her preggie brides the same coz' i was also one of them. Did you go to cordelia, the gyn she recommended? She is also very very good! I was from this supposedly famous gyn in thomson medicial but the service over the counter was terrible and the gyn was so busy coz' of his fame that i felt it wasn't worth paying the price for him. I finished my prewedding with Douglas from Avenue 8, and I loved the pictures, even my friends were raving about it during my wedding. Then they saw my gown and they raved about it even more I have another wedding to do in Malacca in another 2 weeks' time, can't wait to wear my gowns again before my little belly starts getting to obvious!

Hi All i've met up with Christine and true as to what all of you have shared: Excellent Service, and not pushy. Perhaps she know somehow we will come back to her. Haaa.

Can i ask if any of you has taken up package with the Photographer Wedding Moments? How do you find the service? Avenue 8 photographer is rather steep the price.

Hi clairebear, I have met up with Wedding Moments photographer and he is quite nice. But, I will be going for my PS in early May, so maybe by then I will be able to share with you his photography skills? I have decided to sign with Wedding Moments that time cux I also feel that Avenue 8's pricing is rather steep. With their pricing, I guess you will get their great service and pics from them too! hee.. :P
