im a virgin on forums, and a virgin in wedding planning. i need help... =(

hello all. first thing first, i'm a guy so i dont know a lot about such things. but my wife-to-be is currently super busy with her work, and base on her schedule she should be busy throughout 2012. and our wedding day is dec 2012... i dont understand a lota terms in this forum - first time im seeing intials like AD... OTR... which to me is really like, ???.

i need help here and would appreciate u nice ladies/gents to help me in any way possible. thanks in advance!

PS: this is the first time im enrolling myself and entering "forums". dont know a lot of getting-around in such sites also. =(

1) im looking for bridal packages;
> what form do they come in? like, just gowns? or gowns with photography (and photography is pre-wedding or actual day?
> roughly how much would they cost?
> any cheap ones to recommend?

2) i already have my bridal from my company. if whichever bridal shops i choose have this offer as well, can deduct from package costs one?

3) i have plenty of friends who's working as freelance photographer. how much roughly would they cost? and would it be cheaper if i take the packages that includes photography altogether?

and many many more questions that i simply dont know how to string the words into sentences to seek for help.

end of the day, i know i need a lota help... and im hoping i can find a cheap and not-so-bad package that i can tailor-made everything to ease my inconvenience.

bridal packages comes in many form end of the day it really depend on what you need.

It can range from as low as 2K to 10K depending on what it consist of.

When you say cheap, how cheap is cheap?

Hi, I think you should look for a wedding planner. I getting married with my wife in this aug and I started my planning processes in 2011. I was as clueless just like you now. But with the help from my planner, ivy from dream wedding. She guided me through the planning processes and also save some money for me as she had a preferred rate from the vendors. She also just open her boutique, her package of 1 white gown and 2 evening gown is only $999. I just went to see it and it's really nice. P.s. I had also signed up with her on this too. Great deal from all the market research.

for your 1st qns, Tiango had answered u. It is a big range and it depends what you need I signed my bridal package @ MBR. you can drop me email @ pm if you want to know more details about them. And normally bridal package comes in pre-wedding shootings with gowns rental. For AD service, some BS provide it too) But MBR do not provide that service. So gotta engage others.

For qns 2, im don quite understand ur qns . Sorry!

Q3) Freelance AD PG normally range from $500 - $5000. (Also, depending on what you need.) For mine, i engage quite a not bad one @ $688. pm me if you wanna know more. I got another that quoted me $1600 (Include AD PG, VG and Express Highlights). They are not freelance, they are doing full time.

im also first time doing all that and not very experience in doing it. My HTB is my wedding planner doing all this (is to save $ too, hehe). We do our research from experience from our friends, forums and families.

For $688 AD PG package:-

Soft copies in DVD form and a thumb drive inclusive of all the soft copies
200 edited & printed photos in a black nice album.
