and it also depends how you want the pages to look like, if you want to have few photos in a page ( they use the term magazine) is abt 40.
if you want a photo per page.. perhaps its more or less 30?
Bear in my mind that not all pages is one photo each, it depend on placement and the layout.
Sometimes one page can have three photos.
I was counting number of photos in most album. The average is about 40-50.
Normally they will give us 30, try to push for 40. At least if there is a need, plus 10 is not too expensive.
ya, most packages give about 30 only. if plus 10-20 photos, will be another $1k+ additional.
I guess thats where they will earn from.
there are some that says if dun hit a min no of photo, it will be a normal album (ie. no Hot press)

ya, mine was also 30. had exchanged certain items in the package with the photo.
You must also consider number of pages, other than number of photo.
Mine package is $3388 and with only 30 poses. We went for photos selection and realized that we have selected 120 photos meaning that we have 90 extras and we have to topped up $6000++ for the extra prints. After discounts and free gift example, rolled up portrait of my husband and me with our names and wedding date, the price offered is $3400. However we didn't take up the offer and went for only 67 prints (37 extra prints) which cost us additional $2800+ for the photos. Do you think i should spend another $600 for the other 60 photos and free gift or stick to my choice ? Quite dilemma coz, photos are very nice but we really are hard at cash since so many other expenses coming up with the wedding reparation.
