Secondly, for brides who have done your photoshoot with Z wedding already, would you be kind enough to share the following information?

1) For the photoshoot, any photographer you can recommend? I heard that there are 4 of them in CL's team but I just want to get some feedback on them so I can request for that particular one.

2) Any recommendation for makeup artist from their end?

1) Mine was Samuel. Excellent photography skills if you follow their standard style/concepts of photography ( go have a look at Chris Ling's facebook account to have an idea). However if you want a particular concept or style that is different; the end result might not be that great or to your taste, but you cannot fault their skills. They have an excellent grasp of lighting, composition and colour.

2) Mine was Vincent. Strongly recommended, especially his hairstyling skills. I don't like his preference for sweet and dainty, but apparently that style suited me best and in the end, I went with his advice and was satisfied with the overall result. In fact when I insisted on something bolder, I didn't look quite as good as when I left it up to him. He can duplicate any look that you show him and add his own twist to it to flatter your face shape.

3) They have an average range of accessories and veils, and most of it look commonly available elsewhere. I can't comment much because I had all my accessories (shawl, veil, fascinators etc.) customised elsewhere.

4) I liked their gowns. I am not sure if the selection is very poor, as I didn't scout around to compare, but I signed with them because I did like their current designs. However, quality wise, they aren't that high end as they mostly use organza, tulle and polyester duchess satin. But of course, they share their gowns with LeGrand, so occasionally you will see a few designs that are made from higher end materials on their racks.

5) Service-wise not bad. I did have some unpleasant encounters closer to the AD, but I think mine was a unique case. My husband didn't have the same problem with them.

6) Wrist corsages are faux flowers. I ordered my flowers elsewhere, so shan't comment.

7) We didn't bargain so we got the standard package with the usual goodies (allowed to choose from the normal and exclusive range). We also got to try on the gowns before we signed, after we signed the package and during the two official choosings, the fittings and one time when I changed my mind after picking the gowns.
