Wedding venue for 2013, 1000 pax :)
Hi there,
Me and my partner are looking for a suitable wedding venue for our big day next year in dec 2013. However, as we are Malays and we usually invite alot of people, it is abit difficult to find a venue which can hold up to 1000 pax. Furthermore we are trying to avoid doing at MPHs or void decks (very choosy i know. Hehe)
We are looking for halal restaurants / halal banquets at hotels (though we know most ballrooms dont accommodate for that much people) / event halls at parks (we can consider outdoor / indoor ) which can cater to our needs for the event.

It is important to state your budget as 1000 pax is around 100 tables. Do you want banquet or buffet?
Riz Carlton can accommodate over 100 tables, Shangri La as well.
u can try orchard hotel, they can accommodate up to 100 tables
u can consider fort canning gallery? I planned to but sadly it is closed for further upgrading as my wedding is end of this year... =(
I think Fairmont as well can accommodate up to 1000 pax

oh I know that place .. its along Joo Chiat Road. I enquired previously but the sales whom I talked to is terrible so we gave up the idea.
