any one knows of a place to rent without paying a high sum of deposit or security deposit??

2K should not be a problem without decor
hmm, 2k is a lot already. Renting an Audi for 2 days, which is already convertible, should only cost you about S$670. At Ace Drive, an Audi Convertible's deposit is around S$2,000 which is not a problem, because they accept cheque or credit card payment for the car's deposit.
Is 1.5K possible?
