    Cost of wedding in singapore

I heard it is really expensive to get married in Singapore. Roughly how much does it cost?

IMO, How expensive your wedding is going to be depends on how extravagant you want it to me. There are bridal packages that only cost less than $2K while others cost more than $6K. There are wedding banquet that cost like $600 per table for lunch and $1,500 per dinner.

Some say you can make back the money for your wedding banquet but why take the risk?

It depend on many factors like type of banquet, type of hotel, bridal packages etc.

You can do it cheap like holding in a restaurant, finding a cheaper bridal packages etc.

Does your $60,000 include the Ang Bao that your guests gave you?

Hello tunrise. You got a very subjective question here but only thing that is certain is that it is really expensive to get married, not only in Singapore but to other countries as well especially if you want an extravagant celebration. While it is cheap if you only have 10-20 guests with a restaurant reception, grand weddings will cost as high as $500k. So, i suggest, put your plans into writing and then start searching the internet about your chosen venue, , wedding gown, food, service quality, actual day photograph and pre-wedding PS.

For a $10k budget wedding, it will be very very very simple. Here's the possible break down

Rental of Venue: approx $2.5 for 4 hours (excluding setting up & tearing down), approx $500/extra hour
    Floral Deco: approx $500-$700
Buffet Catering: Without table & chairs: >$13/pax, With round table & chairs, >$29.90/pax OR
Wedding Banquet @ Tung Lok: approx $398/table (min 18tables)
Bridal Package for Pre-Wedding & Actual Day: Min $3k

This like literally basic of the basic. So, you just do your sum & you will find that you are very restricted with a 10K budget

Your review doesn't look like coming from a genuine customer, by posting your blog's link over 14 topics in Wedding Forum to share is very much asking us not to go to one stop bridal shop, your motive? So we better switch to other service provider e.g Designer Boutique or stand alone photographer? Scratch the car in the car park just because your car workshop is near by? Your story in your blog is like those junk email we got telling us their sad story and ask us to contact them, they have few million US dollar to invest with you.....

I am still thinking about "TRUE or FALSE" of you and your story told. Worth trying here because it is free. Just my fair opinion here, don't mind. Oh yes, why a SALE person will ask a 17 year old boy to buy wedding package, knowing they hardly have more than $30 in their pocket, I will get a good scolding section from my boss if I wasting my time on a little boy, may be the sale person used to sale computer game.

    ????

p.s.I post this comment over 14 topic also
